The Alcalá de Henares fair in 2025 is from Saturday 23 August to Sunday 31 August.

The Alcalá de Henares Fair has been held since Saturday 22nd August to 31st August, and will concentrate its activities in the Exhibition Centre and the historic city centre, where most of the fan club activities and concerts will take place.

What to do at the daytime fair in Alcalá de Henares?

Alcalá de Henares, known for its rich history and its legacy as the birthplace of Cervantes, could not celebrate its festivities without including a Fair and festival programming top-level. 

This year's programme includes a variety of activities designed to appeal to all tastes and ages. The concerts and musical performances, which will take place at different points around the city, will be one of the main attractions. Renowned national and international artists will take to the stage to offer unforgettable performances.

The traditional street festivals, which will liven up the Plaza de Cervantes and other emblematic spaces each evening, will allow attendees to enjoy the festive atmosphere in all its glory. In addition, the Exhibition Centre stalls will be open to offer a varied gastronomic and leisure offering.

Fairs for everyone at the Exhibition Centre

The Fairgrounds will be the heart of entertainment, with attractions for all ages. From traditional Ferris wheels and carousels to the latest new games and rides, the grounds will offer continuous fun. There will be no shortage of food and drink stalls, where you can savour everything from classic churros to typical regional dishes.

Open every day during the Fairs:

  • The Sunday to Wednesday German 19:00 to 03:30.
  • Thursday, Friday and Saturday German 19:00 to 05:00.
  • Friday 22 August y Sunday 31 August until 1.00 AM.

Music and entertainment

Music fills the air during the Fairs and Festivals of Alcalá de Henares. Listen to the infectious rhythms of Local and national artists that are presented in outdoor settings. From pop concerts to folk performances, the musical diversity is a true pleasure for music lovers. The "peñas" of Alcalá, which are an integral part of the city's festive identity, will play a leading role in organising activities. Parades of giants and "cabezudos" (big-heads), brass bands, and sporting competitions will be just some of the offerings they will provide.

Fireworks display

The celebration culminates in an explosion of colours and lights in the sky. The fireworks display is the perfect grand finale to the Fairs and Festivals of Alcalá de Henares, creating a magical and awe-inspiring atmosphere that will capture your heart and senses.

On our menu you can find the famous Fried squid, Razor clams, a Delicious version of pork crackling and ours Breaded mushrooms, ideal dishes for sharing. The essence of our cuisine can be found in our rice dishes, suckling pig, charred red tuna tataki and in our Grilled octopus.

What to do at the Alcalá fair at night?

If your plans are more geared towards the afternoon/evening, between 5:00 PM and 8:30 PM, we recommend you first attend, either as a participant or as a mere spectator, one of the competitions or other activities taking place in Plaza de Cervantes.

As night falls, every day of the Fairs from 7:00 PM, On the main street of the Fairground, you'll find the usual rides that have been so successful in previous years; the electric cars, the witch train, the crazy bull, the dragon, and classics like the Ferris wheel or the Kangaroo, including the great bumper track and King's Circus, a fantasy world inspired by the world of the circus. 

And if, on the other hand, you prefer to stay in the city centre, you'll love attending the well-known Teatro Salón Cervantes to delight in various works spread throughout the week. And, each day, when you leave the theatre, Plaza Cervantes will have become the stage for concerts.
